An arts writer and photographer from New Delhi, Raunak focuses their research on contemporary American visual cultures and how questions of performance and aesthetic form can open up new ways of being for minoritarian subjects. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and an M.Phil in Film and Screen Studies from the University of Cambridge. As a doctoral candidate of Interdisciplinary Theatre and Drama at Northwestern, Raunak is also affiliated with the Gender and Sexuality Studies Program as a Mellon Foundation Interdisciplinary Cluster Fellow.
